Autumn has to be the most spectacular season in the New Forest. After all, the trees are putting on their fantastic show of colour, plus there are plenty of events to enjoy as well… Just take a look at this lot:
On Saturday October 27th there’s the National Motor Museum firework display at Beaulieu, which is widely regarded as one of the very best in the country.
But that’s just the beginning…
Also on Saturday October 27th our local pub The Trusty Servant will be throwing a Halloween ‘Spooktacular’ featuring: a pumpkin carving competition, a scary Guy competition, a Monsters’ Ball Disco, PLUS a barbecue and bonfire extravaganza.
Then, from 9 pm on October 31st there’s the Halloween ghost walk around Beaulieu’s thirteenth century Abbey with the Hampshire Ghost Club; a group of local paranormal enthusiasts.
And the good times don’t end there…
You will also get to see the forest at one of the most beautiful stages in its cycle; with panaging pigs and a wealth of natural fungi as well.
There’s so much to see and do… All it needs is you
