Horsing around in the New Forest

Cycling in the New ForestIf you’re not really into horse riding there’s still plenty to see and do in the New Forest this summer.

Calshot activities centre near Fawley gives you the opportunity to try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, archery, rock climbing, cycling and even skiing.

Then there’s the traditional British seaside resort of Bournemouth just down the road with its sandy beaches and excellent nightlife.

Car lovers can also explore the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, which is currently holding an exhibition of cars from James Bond films. But that’s not all…

There are also loads of traditional British pubs with excellent food, beer gardens and gallons of locally produced ale to enjoy too.

So remember: your trip to the New Forest doesn’t only have to be about the horse riding.
